Excellence in Sports
The students of the Govt. schools, in
spite of the financial problems have shown excellent results in sports
and cultural activities.
In the year 2009-10, the students of
Muktsar district won many positions at State level games and made
everybody proud.

Apart from this many players of the
District were selected for national camps held at various places of
India. In the National Games held at Jalandhar in November,2009, Punjab
won the Ist position in India in Basketball (Under 17 Boys) in which 2
players were from Sri Muktsar Sahib district ; in Volleyball (Under 14
Boys) Punjab won the IIIrd position in India in which 5 players were
from Sri Muktsar Sahib district.
EXCELLENCE IN
SCIENCE EXHIBITIONS
In the Children Science Congress held at P.A.U.,Ludhiana ,the students
of GSSS(G), MHR Malout of our won the First position in Punjab and the
Students also participated in National Science Congress held at Nagaland
.
In the State Level Science Exhibition
2009-10 held at Ropar from 1-4 December , Sahildeep Kaur of Dashmesh
Girls Senior Secondary School ,Badal won the First position at state
level and Rajat Kataria of Malwa School, Gidderbaha won the IIIrd
position.
In the Punjab State Talent Search Examination(VIII class) , a student of
class VIII has stood third in Punjab . Out of 500 students selected in
Punjab ,77 students of our district got selected . In the Punjab State
Talent Search Examination(X class) , a student of class X has stood
first in Punjab . Out of 500 students selected in Punjab ,61 students of
our district got selected . These are just a few of the achievements.
The students, with the help of able guidance of the teachers have
excelled in almost all fields.
