SCHEME WISE WRITE UP OF THE PROGRAMMES OF DAIRY DEVELOPMENT OF
PUNJAB FOR THE YEAR 2004-2005
District Level Schemes:
1- PROVIDING EDUCATION AND EXTENSION SERVICES TO THE DAIRY
FARMERS AND THE CONSUMERS.
Objectives: Opening of the Global Market in W.T.O
regime has thrown a strong Challage to the dairy industry in the State .
To meet the challange, radical changes are required to be brought in the
existing scenario of the dairy sectorboth qualitatively and
quantitatively . Such changes are to be begin at the grass root level.
The farmers of the state have to be made aware of the ways and means to
cope up with such a change and it is imperative to equip them with
latest technique and information about the use os new systems to bring
existing daisy farming activities in the state as par with those in
developed countries.

With the sincere of forts for
sighted vision and progressing mission of Sh. Parkash Singh Badal the worthy chief minister of Punjab,
Integrated Farmers Training Centre abul khurana Distt. Muktsar has been established by Integrated Farmers Training
Centre Society Abul khurana
Distt. Muktsar PB. With the aim of up grading the knowledge for farmers in various
courses Dairy, Poultry, Fishery and Agriculture.
This institute situated in
piece full Pollution free environment and spread over 10 Acer of land on
national high-way on malout-
dabwali road at abul khurana has its own new modern building with Spacious
training hall, Practical Lab, Procession unit, Testing lab, Live Dairy farm,
Model cattle shed and fish pound. Hostel and library facilities for training of
